Which valve oil?
The Herschel brass range runs from lightest and fastest to heaviest: Virtuox is the fastest, lightest oil for quick modern valves; Provox is the balanced everyday choice; Introx gives a fuller film for older or slightly worn valves; Vintage is the heaviest, most cushioned oil for loose or noisy vintage valves.
How to use
Apply a few drops directly to a cleaned piston valve, then work the valve to distribute the oil evenly.
